About the event

Ignite is a foundational course covering the skills it takes to become a real estate expert of choice.

Ignite propels agents into immediate productivity while setting the foundation for success and growth in any market and any stage of their career.

Each Ignite day is divided up into two hours of hands-on instruction and two hours of lead generation using the Ignite Success System.

Participants learn the business of real estate through four fundamental pillars:

  • Becoming the real estate expert
  • Creating a lead generation system based on your sphere of influence
  • Creating a lead follow-up system using KW's Command system
  • Managing the transaction from appointment to post-close

Ignite provides a great introduction to all of the various resources KW has to offer. Use the linked article for an easy reference to all of the great things mentioned in the course: KW Resources

Prior to Ignite, come prepared with the following:

  • Know your KW Login Credentials
  • Add Contacts
  • Add Activities and Notes to Contacts

1. Real Estate Expert - Language of Real Estate.

The report we use for this is the Multi-year Trends Report. There are two versions of this report, one for Market Centers, with a focus on MC growth and aggregate production, and one for agents, with a focus on individual agent production.

Value Proposition.

As you are working through building out your value proposition, make sure to go into Command and use that to put your best foot forward by completing your KW Marketing Profile. and setting up your KW App and Site. You can then start sharing with the people you are interacting with and capture new leads:

2. Lead Gen - Establish Your Database.

Once you get used to the basics, you will be ready to establish your database, in Command, and organize those contacts in a way that makes sense for your business. You can import a spreadsheet of contacts and/or sync the contacts you already have in your phone or other systems you might be using, as a good starting place. Database Health Report.

The Database Health Report provides a good overview of how many leads/contacts you have in your database, but more importantly puts a focus on the lead sources they came from and how much information you are adding to each person's contact record.

Create Designs for Communication and Lead Gen.

As you start lead generating (sending emails, door knocking, posting on social media, etc.), you can use the Designs applet, in Command, to create free professional designs that are branded to you and your business:

Communicate.

Once you have established your database, in Command, utilize Tasks in Command to systematize your process and ensure no contact is missed. You also have the ability to create one-off email campaigns to provide a quick and easy touchpoint, to a group of contacts in your database.

Capture with Social Media.

In Command, you can connect your social media business pages with your Command account. This will enable you to run social ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Google Adwords. You can also create and schedule social posts on Facebook & Insta. You can do all of this within Command, without having to go to each platform to create and track these individually. Remember; NAR Social Media Guidelines Agent-to-Agent referrals.

Another way to generate revenue and find new business is to use the Referrals platform in Command. Track referral patterns, find and connect with awesome KW agent referral partners, send and receive referrals, and then track those referrals all the way through to close.

3. The Gold is in Follow Up.

SmartPlans is Command can automate tasks and communication. Whether your utilize a pre-made SmartPlans or create your own, this allows you to set automated tasks, emails, and text messages (using Twilio in Command) in your SmartPlan workflow. Once you set these up, all you need to do is add contacts to the SmartPlan, and the system takes care of the rest.

Introduction to Opportunities.

Opportunities is the system we use to track our current and potential transactions, within Command. Each Opportunity (current or potential transaction) starts at the Cultivate Phase, where you can track an Opportunity before you have even set an appointment, and will be tracked through to the Closed Phase. In the Lead Follow-up section of Ignite, the focus is on identifying contacts who are ready to do business. The Cultivate phase, in Opportunities is perfect for this, where you can customize your Opportunity pipelines with stages and custom checklists, to ensure you systematically cultivate relationships.

4. Transaction - Seller/Buyer Guides.

Command Designs, have templates for listing and buyer presentations that have been professionally created and provided for your use. You can access the templates, and then customize the content to your branding and the clients needs. You can then download the design and use it at your appointments.

Set Expectations Seamlessly with Your KW App and Site.

The Consumer Guide in the KW App is designed to walk your clients through the process of buying or selling a home while tracking their progress throughout the process. In Command, you have the ability to customize a Buyer and Seller Guide to fit exactly how your business runs. You can add or remove steps, edit the information within the steps, and also re-order the steps of the guide. You also have the ability to set up Client Updates where you can designate Opportunity checklist items for Client Updates, where your clients will be sent a daily email, which will include a report of the Opportunity checklist items that you have completed that day.

Transact in Opportunities.

You had an introduction to Opportunities, in the Lead Follow-up section above, but the Transactions section is where Opportunities becomes the main focus. This is where you can customize the transaction phases of your pipelines to fit your transaction process, and where you can get documents e-signed, submit compliance checklists to your Market Center leadership for approval, and submit Commission request once the transaction has been approved by Compliance.

Super easy - KW has the tools you need to run a successful business.
